“We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been—a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power… Someplace where we can be free."

A Day At Witchcamp
Each day you wake to the sounds of birds, the ringing of the gong announcing meals, and the rustle of cabin mates as they make their way to breakfast in the dining hall. This year, we aim for spaciousness for all of us to create and take part in the community as we desire.
Starting Sunday: Perhaps you’ll choose to take part in one of the paths offered each morning: What is a path, you might ask? Well, a path is like a class that meets together for a specified number of days to build magickal skills. It is strongly recommended that you do NOT jump from path to path, but choose one path to commit to through its entirety, as often each day's lesson builds on the lesson of the previous day. For more about who’s teaching, check out our Path Offerings page.
Mornings or afternoons, perhaps you’ll offer or participate in optional offering(s) sprinkled throughout the week. What is an optional offering, you might ask? Well, an optional offering can be a short workshop, discussion, ritual, presentation or performance that can be facilitated by any camper(s) who wishes to do so. If you choose to offer something there will be an optional offering schedule provided for you to post about it so people know when and where to find it. Perhaps you’ll wander the land, spend time at the lake, or convene with a few others.
Food at midday is often preceded by blessings and the day’s announcements as we circle up outside the dining hall.
After lunch: Occasional daytime rituals, optional offerings, affinity groups, recovery meetings, napping, hanging out by the lake . . . continue your community journey.
We circle up again for dinner, which is followed by
Evening Rituals or other events where all campers meet to explore myth, magic, and mystery together. Visit our page on What To Expect From A Reclaiming Ritual to learn more about our rituals at camp. Visit our Ritual Facilitation Team page to find out more about this year’s RFT.
Conclude your evening with delicious snacks, more hanging out, or sleep.
Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.
Mid-Week we anticipate a day of gathering, connecting, sharing, community building, and to open camp up for a Visitor’s Day which will include perusing vendor wares and, possibly a Magickal Faire if there is capacity and interest from the community to partake in the labor and service of the tasks needed to run a Magickal Faire.
Our last day we usually do a spiral dance for our last ritual.
Departure: Camp ends on Saturday, after cleanup is complete. One of our responsibilities as a community is to clean up camp before we leave and everyone participates in this. Be sure to schedule time for All Camp Cleanup into your travel arrangements.
