Support VWC

Preparations are well underway for the 2011 Vermont Witch Camp and the organizing committee is busy attending to the thousands of details involved in putting together a magickal week in the woods. One of the most challenging tasks is to create the event with all of the unique and special amenities that Vermont Witch Camp is known for, while keeping the registration fees low so that camp is accessible to all those who wish to come.

We are very happy to report that there is no increase in registration fees this year. In addition, we are again offering a generous scholarship program for those who need it.

However, in response to the Sacred Conversation on finance at camp last year and the feedback we got in our post-camp feedback survey, we have worked hard to make compensation equitable for those who help make camp a success. As an example, we are offering stipends, in addition to comped camp fees, to all Path Leaders.

In order to help cover these increased costs, we are asking the community members who have the means to make a contribution to Vermont Witch Camp Fund. Your tax-deductible donation will help cover teacher stipends, fund scholarships and support the overall profitability of the Vermont Witch Camp. While witch camps all over the world struggle financially, VWC has always been financially viable, thanks to both the conservative management of finances and the generosity of our community.

Please send a donation of whatever you can afford--$5, $25, $100 or more--to the VWC Fund. Your donation directly benefits our community. Think of the wonderful, wild diversity in our community, what magic each person brings, what richness results when we all assemble. Your contribution will help make that happen. You will directly be a catalyst for the magical miracles that evolve at camp this year.
