A
week of Myth, Magic and Mystery in the Reclaiming Tradition
Welcome

"We
are all longing to go home to some place we have never been
-- a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only
catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere,
there are people to whom we can speak with passion without
having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle
of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we
enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into
our own power
Someplace where we can be free"

Over 120 men and women come together each year in the hills of Vermont
to create this magical community. We work with teachers trained
in the Reclaiming tradition of the Craft.
Reclaiming is
a community of men and women working to unify spirit and politics.
Our vision is rooted in the magic of the Goddess, the Immanent Life
Force. The work we do together during the week gives us energy to
grow and nurture ourselves and our wider world, to birth a vision
of new culture.
We agree, as a
community, to abide by the Reclaiming Principles
of Unity and the Wiccan Rede.
Our intention is to create a safe container in which individuals
may do deep personal work. We acknowledge and honor, without judgement,
that each of us has the right and responsibility to set personal
boundaries. We are committed to creating a community in which the
emotional, energetic and physical boundaries of all are valued and
respected.
Camp sits on a
very steep, beautifully wooded, hillside with the lake at the bottom
and sacred circle above. Every destination is either up or down.
The site is not wheelchair accessible, but we are committed to finding
ways to make the physical challenges of our site less prohibitive.
Please contact us if you have questions.
We recognize that
there are not many models for what we are trying to create. We believe
that another world is possible and follow a consensus
model of decision-making, strive to maintain transparency in
our organizing process,
and encourage collaborative models of dispute resolution. These
principles guide our interactions with the elements and sacred land
that support us, and with all the two and four footed, winged, finned
and rooted beings She sustains.
