A
Brief History
The first Vermont
Witch Camp was held at Farm
and Wilderness in 1995. It was organized by the coven
Trillium (Raven, Evergreen, Ruah, Ruby, Joanne and Cathy.) From
the very first, campers came forward to offer support and innovative
ideas, but the bulk of the organizing and financial responsibility
was undertaken by Trillium.
In the fall of
1998 an Organizing Cell
made up of any interested campers took over the reins. We incorporated
in the winter of 1999 and VWC has been organized by this Cell (with
a changing cast of organizers) ever since.
