Vermont
Witch Camp
August 25 - September 1, 2007
A
week of Myth, Magic and Mystery in the Reclaiming Tradition
| |
 |
We will
share a week to open, stretch, empower, and transform us.
This week is an magical intensive, offering an opportunity
to deepen personal connection to the sacred in all.
This year
approximately 125 people will gather for a week to create
magical community within the hills of Vermont. We work with
teachers trained in the Reclaiming tradition of the Craft.
Reclaiming's
vision is rooted in the religion and magic of the Goddess,
and works to manifest a union of spirit and politics.
Within this
cauldron we learn and enrich magical skills through path work,
affinity groups, optional workshops, work in community, and
in rituals.
|
Our community encourages and celebrates diversity. This
year, camp is open to all ages. Those under 18 must be accompanied
by a parent or legal guardian. We are committed to exploring
ways in which children and families can be included in our
magical community.
We
agree to abide by the Reclaiming principles of Unity and
the Wiccan Rede.

Camp sits
on a very steep, beautifully wooded, hillside with the lake
at
|
|
the
bottom and sacred circle above. Every destination is either
up or down. The site is not wheelchair accessible, but we
are committed to finding ways to make the physical challenges
of our site less prohibitive. Please contact us if you have
questions.
Camp
opens at noon, August 25th and ends at 2 PM Saturday, September
1, 2007. Please contact us at Travel@vermontwitchcamp.net
before making public transportation reservations. Camp is
2 hours away from Burlington in a somewhat remote area, and
we will need to know your plans if you wish us to help arrange
transport from the airport or bus or train stations. Additional
travel information will be included in the mailing sent in
late June.
